Personality Profile: Joe Beatty (Client Relationship Manager)
Joe with his grandson, Zayne

As Client Relationship Manager, Joe Beatty spends his work days talking to Triserv’s clients, ensuring they’re receiving the service they deserve, troubleshooting, and solving problems. Joe joined the Triserv team in July 2021. Fifteen years ago, he was working for his family’s property management company when a friend told him about a job opportunity at a new type of business called an Appraisal Management Company. He had no clue what an AMC was at the time, and all these years later, he claims to still fail to properly explain to his kids what he does for a living!

When asked what he loves about his job, Joe says, “We do business all over the country, and I get to talk to people from everywhere.” Joe has always been motivated by new projects. He’s one of the few people that will get excited about a new vendor list. When a new lender customer signs up with Triserv, Joe will take their list of Preferred Vendors and call all the appraisers that aren’t already on Triserv’s appraisal panel. Whether it’s calling 10 or 100 vendors, Joe thrives on figuring out a plan and successfully adding more appraisers to Triserv’s database.

What’s challenging for Joe? He had previously always worked in an office, so learning to work from home was a big challenge at first. But he’s gotten used to it, and now enjoys not having a commute. When asked what keeps him up at night, he answers, “Everything…but the real answer is too much coffee!”

Joe lives in “a town where over a century of left turns have made us famous.” If that wasn’t crystal clear, he’s referring to Indianapolis, Indiana and the Indy 500.

In terms of family, Joe reports, “My father passed away last summer, but he and my mother raised a family of three sons and one daughter. My sister has a daughter that’s 15, and my brother and his partner live nearby. I have two stepchildren, a boy and a girl, that I have raised since they were four and eight years old. In 2020, my son and his wife gave birth to their first child.”

In his free time, Joe enjoys kayaking, fishing, and pretty much anything that comes with being in the water. He also skis, hikes, and bikes, depending on the season. That said, he states, “Lately, my hobbies have been playing with and babysitting my grandson Zayne. He’s started walking, so I’ve been trying - and failing - to teach him why we don’t put our dirty hands on the television.”
