Angela Dinkins is Triserv’s newest team member - she joined us in July 2021. Angela is serving as Senior Vice President of Operations, and her goal is to improve the client experience by making Triserv’s internal processes smoother and communications stronger.
Earlier in her career, Angela worked for a property investor, an appraiser, and a bank, the latter in a role assisting the underwriter and reviewing appraisals. Since she has been involved in all aspects of the appraisal process, it was only natural for her to move to working at AMCs starting in 2013.
When asked what the best part of her job is, Angela reports, “The relationships that you build with people and making people’s lives better, whether it’s the people you work with, or having an appraisal come through for a buyer purchasing their first home. I get a lot of satisfaction out of making someone happy.”
What keeps Angela up at night? “Due dates! I do panic a bit about not meeting a client’s expectations, and I take it personally when I know a late report is putting a borrower in a bad situation. It’s the last thing I think about at night and the first thing I’m praying about in the morning.”
As a single mom of two boys, Angela is motivated by her kids. “They have to see their mom out there kicking butt every day. That’s what gets me out of bed!” Angela’s sons are 11 and 15. One plays football while the other plays golf, and they both take guitar lessons on the weekend. The family lives in Nashville and includes a solid white rescue cat named Snow.
When she’s not working or spending time with her kids, Angela is involved with her church and distributing meals through her local food bank. She loves true crime and ghost stories, and has been known to go ghost-hunting in the middle of the night.
